There is now no legal requirement to wear a face covering to services. However in consideration for the safety of others, our stewards will wear face coverings and we ask you to wear one when entering, exiting and moving around the building, until in your seat for the service. Please feel free to keep your face covering on if you prefer. We will continue to use well-spaced seating around our large well ventilated chapel. If you have any concerns our door stewards will be happy to assist you.

During the further lockdown announced from 5 November, all our services will be broadcast online, God willing.
Online Sunday school can be found here, and our Sunday services and alternate Thursday Bible Study can be found on YouTube.

Deaf or hard of hearing? Many of our sermons are now live streamed in British Sign Language. More Details >>

Other Ministries

Local Care Home Ministry

We enjoy our visits to two local care homes. For example at Harvest time and we lead services and hymn singing with the residents, who often tell us how it reminds them of attending Sunday School when they were children.

Bedford Prison Visiting Ministry

Each week we support bible studies in Bedford Prison. This ministry has special significance to us as a Chapel, given the connection between a former Bedford Prison and John Bunyan, where he wrote Pilgrim’s Progress. We long to be able to help the prisoners to find new life in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus said “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
